Descriptions
The CA-3 coupler belongs to automatic coupler. Our AAR couplers are furnished with bodies, knuckles, and locks of quenched and tempered grade E steel, which are high strength structure, reliable safety performance, and high interchangeability. AAR standard coupler mainly includes type E, type F, type FR and type EF. Except type F coupler and type FR coupler are equipped with primary anti-creep mechanism to prevent disengagement, the new-built type E and type EF couplers have the anti-creep mechanism design too. To meet varied service equipment arrangement needs, we can design different Type E couplers with variant compatible shank and special features or fittings. The coupler and gear system also can be equipped with other draft gears by changing follower and yoke.
